One of the coolest events in Carmel Valley is the annual Joullian wreath making BBQ. It's in early december when all the grape leaves are turning. This makes for a spectacular scene. Today I went to Post Ranch with my husband and was reminded of how incredible it is. I feel like the picture speaks for itself!

One of my favorites: Passion Fish

Passion Fish in Pacific Grove has to be on of my favorite restaurants on the peninsula. The food is top of the line gourmet yet very affordable. The have an incredible wine selection, but if you want to bring your own wine, half of your corkage fee will be donated to a fund that helps sea turtles!

Napenthe Halloween

A cool place to check out for Halloween in the area is Nepenthe. Big Sur is so beautiful already. When you couple this with Nepenthe's famous ambrosia burgers and great costumes it usually makes for an unforgettable night!
