Highlands Inn

I wanted to take a minute to write about the Highlands Inn, not only because it is such an incredible place but also because one of my listings is just a couple blocks away :). The photo here doesn't really capture it. When you are there, in the dining room on a nice sunset its very difficult to do it just justice with a photograph. With the Highlands Inn, its not just one area that has a great view. Literally the whole property has incredible vistas. There are so many different angles to explore.

Joullian Wreath Making

Joullian Vineyards in Carmel Valley

One of the coolest events in Carmel Valley is the annual Joullian wreath making BBQ. It's in early december when all the grape leaves are turning. This makes for a spectacular scene. It sounds cliche but it really is fun for the whole family. The kids love the wreath making and the food, and the adults...well it's a winery! Check out www.joullian.com for more info.

Today I went to Post Ranch with my husband and was reminded of how incredible it is. I feel like the picture speaks for itself!

One of my favorites: Passion Fish

Passion Fish in Pacific Grove has to be on of my favorite restaurants on the peninsula. The food is top of the line gourmet yet very affordable. The have an incredible wine selection, but if you want to bring your own wine, half of your corkage fee will be donated to a fund that helps sea turtles!

Napenthe Halloween

A cool place to check out for Halloween in the area is Nepenthe. Big Sur is so beautiful already. When you couple this with Nepenthe's famous ambrosia burgers and great costumes it usually makes for an unforgettable night!
